How to change brake lights on a dodge caravan
Time: 2009-02-20

Ever been driving and the car next to you calls to you that your brake lights are out? Unsure on how to change the brake lights? Here is how to change the brake lights on a dodge caravan.

Changing your brake lights on a dodge caravan is actually simpler than it sounds. First go to the back cargo door and open.

Inside the van, on both sides by the lights are 2 black rubber circles. These hold in the light cover from the outside to the inside.

Using a screwdriver or pliers, take out black stoppers(2) on each side. Caution, this loosens cover on the outside.

Carefully remove cover. On inside are 3 black circles, each holding a light bulb. The middle section is where the brake light bulb is located. To remove holder, squeeze plastic on both sides of the middle section until loosens and you can remove.

Remove old bulb, noting how it is inserted, and replace with new.
Discard old brake light (bulb).

Insert black bulb holder back into circle opening and ensure it is firmly in place. Place light cover back into its place. Take black plastic screws and insert into car panel. Push until firmly in place.
Repeat on other side of car.
